2008 and a new resident

Happy 2008 to everyone. I was at home resting on the eve and did not go out to party as i was feeling unwell, but this is the 1st time i experienced a non stop display of fireworks erupting from everywhere around manila since 8pm right past the stroke of midnight, when 2008 was ushered in. I tried hard to sleep but i couldnt as the firworks and fire-crackers and possible gunshots were reigning supreme. The fireworks in SG could be bigger and higher but its only in confined area, but those here are EVERYWHERE, i mean everywhere.Pls check out the short video i have posted at the bottom of this post. Its like a warzone for that few hours.

setting off our own fireworks right in the vicinity of a shopping/eatery area during xmas eve. After the 16 popping shots, there were already 5 security guards surrounding us saying that we are not allowed to let go fireworks here.Ironically, we had asked another of their colleague if we could set up our props and he agreed. But luckily, they let us off.

Meal time..all it takes is one minute for Smurfie to finish his meal. The dark colored one by the way is our new resident Muffin, a mini schnauzer.

where i stayed during my stay..really nice place and scenery. Below is the newly opened Elements shopping complex boasting 3 levels of shopping/dining space. Underneath is also the airport express train to the airport.

mango and pomelo. this one is bad as the mango was sour and the pomelo bitter. Maybe its the season.

This bowl of wanton noodled cost 40hkd (ard sgd7.50). ridiculously priced but i find it normal only. they said its famous.
Zhi Ma Wu(blk sesame), a dessert that i been looking forward to b4 coming here.

Famous egg tart stall in Central that even ex HK govenor Chris Patten (UK regime) cant get enough of. Photos of him and the stall owner are everywhere in the shop. Its situated along a slope called Lyndhurst or Lynhurst street,

some milk beancurd or sth like that. A delicacy in Macau, but somehow i didnt like it as the smell of the milk is too strong.

the gaming floor with over 800+ tables!!! So many that u r spoilt for choice of which tables to choose to gamble. It deserves the term HUMONGOUS. Its really so big(at least 2 football fields of gaming area) that u might lose your way. im serious. Outcome=Negative one of the entrances

Chicken cutlet @ Tanglin Halt Western Food stall, Clementi Central hawker centre. A delicacy i grew up with since age 7. Yes, i been eating this at least 2 monthly for the past 18 years. Indeed worth trying. Bought it for my leftfoot boys and all of them love it. Just had to post this cos its without doubt, the best chicken cutlet i ever tasted in my life.

A donut company many ppl in Sg is fascinated with. I don't think there is Krispy Kreme in sg. After trying it, i feel it just taste like any other donuts out there, maybe its just a fad.

The selection

KFC 'Fully Loaded' meal that cost ard SGD$5.

The breakdown: 2 pcs Chicken, mashed potato(taste like shit,too little gravy), mushroom soup, rice and chocolate brownie. Stomach was really fully loaded after having this.

Summary: To those of u who know, i had a really bad start to my holis back in sg for the 1st time after 4 mths due to some beasts. But u will be apprehended soon in time to come , u know who u r. I WANT JUSTICE DONE and it will be done !!! Not just for me but for all other victims. Big 10Q to those who were there on that day to RESCUE me. If not, i wont be even typing right now, i guess.

For now, emceeg will be OOT again. And i hope to cyall soon, my Lost boys and Gals and friends and of cos my MUM and Family !!! Everything's gonna be fine, no worries.

the race is on...

Illegal drag racing involving mostly underbones bikes (kup kias) along a long stretch of road near Manila Bay. This pic is not that significant but i can easily see at least a hundred over bikes scattered on both sides of the road. Racers, mostly w/o helmets were seen dragging their modded cubs down the road..and the scene was quite chaotic..where were the police seriously ?
See the stretch of road in the background. Thats where they raced towards and back, sth like this. Every bike here with mods sounded like a typcial 400cc thumper, a common mod here btw.

Boarded a cab with no handle on the door, but is opened by pulling the string instead. Wicked !
